A three-week, full-immersion program where your dog will live on my property and train exclusively on a leash. This program focuses on building reliable, leash-based obedience. With time and consistent reinforcement, your dog can eventually progress to off-leash control, but immediately after training, your dog will need to remain on a leash to maintain proper behavior and reliability. Off-leash control is not included in this program.
Comprehensive Skills:
All skills are taught and reinforced while your dog is on a leash, both indoors and outdoors. These include:
- No jumping
- Nipping
- Crate training/manners
- Loose leash walking
- Threshold manners
- Waiting on food
- Furniture manners
- Developing an “off switch” (teaching your dog to relax and settle in the environment instead of pacing or being overly active)
Basic Commands:
- Sit (stay implied)
- Down (stay implied)
- Place (stay implied)
- Recall (“here”)
Training Tools Provided:
We provide all the essential tools to maintain your dog’s training, including:
- A four-foot leash
- A treat pouch to hold treats for rewarding your dog during training sessions
- A 20-foot drag line for outdoor recall training
- A training tab for when you still want a handle to grab but don’t need a full leash
- Training treats to get you started
- I will send you home with the training collar that I feel will work best for you and your dog
Owner Follow-Ups:
We typically cover everything your dog learned during their stay with me in three lessons, each lasting 1-2 hours. These lessons are designed to show you how to maintain your dog’s progress at home, and I tailor the pace based on how quickly you and your dog are picking up the skills. If you’re progressing well, we can move forward more quickly as needed.

Investment:
- The total cost for the program is $1,400, with a $500 deposit required to secure your spot. This deposit is deducted from the total investment.
- The $900 balance is due before your dog goes home at the end of the program.
